Co-founder and former CEO of Opera Software Jon von Tetzchner has launched a new browser Vivaldi. Among the advantages of the application developer calls high speed and wide functionality of the program. Many of its features are borrowed from the original versions of Opera.

Basic announced today browser features — Quick Commands, Notes, Speed Dials and Tab Stacks. The first is designed to launch a variety of browser features by pressing a single button. The user can configure many shortcuts. Notes allows you to add sites to the notes (one of the key innovations of the new browser Microsoft Spartan, however, there is no handwriting).

In turn, Speed Dials — standard feature on many modern browsers. Is a grid of shortcuts, which is displayed in a new tab. In Vivaldi this function supports folder labels. Finally, Tab Stacks is a grouping of shortcuts tab open (again one of the stated functions in Spartan).

Work on Vivaldi was conducted last year and a half. All of these functions is in technical preview version of the browser is available for download on the official website for Windows, OS X and Linux.
